DR MARK CHARTERIS

Dr Mark Charteris is the principal doctor at RHFMP and has practiced medicine since 1986. Dr Charteris established the practice in 1988 and it has grown in response to the needs of the developing surrounding areas. He is vocationally registered and is also a senior associate clinical lecturer in general practice at Sydney University. He has a special interest in acute medicine. DR SARAH CHAUDRY

Dr Chaudry has been consulting from the practice since 2001, having practiced medicine in the hospital system, and at another surgery since 1986. Dr Chaudry is vocationally registered, and is a Fellow and Examiner of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She sees her patients on a drop in basis and also by appointment. DR NICOLE LEOTTA

Dr Nicole Leotta has been consulting from the practice since 2011. She has a special interest in women’s and children’s health. She is also available for specific contraceptive procedures such as Mirena and Implanon insertion and removal. DR LEOTTA CHOOSES TO  PRIVATELY BILL

DR NIRZARI PANDIT

Dr Nirzari Pandit affectionately known as Niri, has been consulting from the practice since 2020. Having graduated with her MBBS at Sydney University, she believes in a holistic model of care supporting families achieve optimal health and is specially interested in Natural medicine, Women’s and Children’s health. DR LAURIE ZHONG

Dr Laurie Zhong has been consulting from the practice since 2020. She graduated in 2015 with honours. Her special interests are in women’s and children’s health, as well as chronic disease management.

DR CHATWIN LEE

Dr Chatwin has been consulting from the practice since 2021. He graduated with a Bachelor and Medicine and Surgery at the University of Western Sydney. He completed his internship and residency primarily in Westmead Hospital with rotations to Coffs Harbour, Auburn and Westmead Children’s Hospital. 

Chatwin’s aim is to provide holistic care to all his patients with a focus on prevention medicine. Outside of medicine, he enjoys fish keeping as well as basketball. DR LEE CHOOSES TO PRIVATELY BILL

DR NATHAN LEUNG

Dr Nathan Leung is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and offers consultations to all his patients regardless of age or demographic. 

He prides himself in offering comprehensive, detail oriented medical care, and focuses on the collaborative involvement of his patients in their own health.

Outside of his general practice consulting, he also works regularly in the emergency department staying up to date with acute critical care, and is involved in the teaching of medical students at Macquarie University’s medical school.

Dr Leung enjoys all aspects of general practice, and has a particular interest in the recognition and treatment of skin cancer. He is currently undergoing training with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia, and has been awarded his Certificate of Dermoscopy. DR PATRICIA ALPHONSE

Dr Patricia Alphonse graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Sydney, completing her training as a junior doctor in Westmead, Blacktown and Sydney Children’s Hospitals, working in various specialties including Cardiology, Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Renal Medicine, Geriatrics and General Paediatrics.  She has also completed the Sydney Child Health Program. 

Dr Alphonse clinical interests include Women’s and Children’s health particularly Antenatal Care, Preventative Medicine, Cardiovascular Health, Mental Health and Chronic Disease Management. She genuinely cares for her patients and is committed to providing the best possible holistic and family-oriented care to her patients. DR ALPHONSE CHOOSES TO PRIVATELY BILL

DR MARTA MATIC

Dr Marta is a GP who completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery locally in Sydney. She has specialised further training in Paediatrics, Infant Health and Lactation Medicine. She has extensive experiences working as a Paediatric Registrar at the Gold Coast University Hospital, the Children’s Hospital in Brisbane and Westmead Children’s Hospital, Sydney. She has completed further training including the Diploma of Child health, Advanced Paediatric Life Support and the Australasian Lactation Courses. To complement her passion for Paediatrics, Dr Marta also has a special interest in Women’s Health and Chronic disease management. Her clinical practice focuses on providing holistic, sensitive care to children and their families. She offers a tailored range of personalised consults including perinatal care, lactation medicine, women’s health, and child health consultations.

Outside of consulting Dr Marta will often be seen walking her Labrador and playing in the park with her young family.

DR ANTHONY GERGIS

Dr Gergis completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Queensland, before moving back to Sydney to undertake his internship and residency at Nepean Hospital, gaining experience in Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Geriatrics, Respiratory Medicine, Cardiology as well as Emergency Medicine.

Dr Gergis enjoys all aspects of General Practice, taking a caring, empathetic approach with his patients and families. He believes in partnering and working with his patients to meet their needs. He is committed to practicing up to date, evidence based medicine.

DR AHMED DANYIAL

General Practice Registrar – Speaks English, and Urdu

Dr Ahmed got his MBBS in 2005. Since then he has been working across Australia in various metro, trauma, regional and remote hospitals in WA, NSW, Victoria and NT.

He has extensive experience in emergency medicine, critical care, aeromedical retrieval (RFDS), paediatrics and neonates.

Currently enjoying general practice with particular interests in Preventive health, Chronic disease management, Children’s health including babies, Mental health, Skin checks and Minor skin procedures and emergency presentations.

He is also fluent in Urdu/ Hindi languages.

In his free time, he mostly enjoys running, cycling and spending time with his family at the beach.

DR SHRUTI YARDI

Dr Shruti Yardi is a General Practice Registrar, and her clinical interests include preventative care/health promotion, children’s health, women’s health and palliative care.

Shruti obtained her medical science degree in 2014 and her medical degree in 2018 from Griffith University. She has worked as a junior doctor at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Balmain Hospital, Bathurst Hospital, Westmead Hospital, Blacktown Hospital and Mt Druitt Hospital. Shruti is passionate about teaching and has taught medical students from University of Sydney and Western Sydney University.

She has pursued research projects in paediatrics and cardiology and is published in the Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health and has given presentations at the Royal College of Physicians Congress and the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. Shruti genuinely cares for her patients and is committed to providing the best possible healthcare.

DR PARINDA SHAH

Dr Parinda Shah has been consulting at the practice since 2024. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from James Cook University, and completed the rest of her training in Western Sydney, Wollongong and Mittagong. Parinda has a special interest in women’s and children’s health. She has completed the Sydney Child Health Program, and has done additional training for antenatal shared care and contraceptive procedures. Parinda is passionate about providing thorough, holistic and empathetic care to all of her patients. She is also passionate about teaching in medicine and global health. Outside of medicine, Parinda enjoys dancing, badminton and spending time outdoors with her family and friends.

DR KAREN MATHEW

Dr Karen Mathew completed her MBBS at James Cook University in Far North Qld. She undertook her junior doctor training across metropolitan and regional NSW including Blacktown/Mt Druitt Hospital, Bathurst Base Hospital and the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, before deciding to pursue a career in General Practice and obtaining her FRACGP. She has worked as a GP across various locations in Sydney (including the Hills District and Northern Beaches) and more recently Melbourne.

Karen has a special interest in women’s and children’s health, and skin cancer medicine, and has completed a Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health with Family Planning NSW, a Diploma in Child Health with the University of Sydney, and a Certificate in Dermoscopy with the Australasian Skin Cancer College. She also enjoys medical education and research and is currently engaged in teaching, examiner and research roles affiliated with the University of Melbourne Medical School. DR SAIMA MAJEED

Dr. Saima Majeed completed her MBBS at Wollongong University and received comprehensive training at various institutions, including Hornsby and Bathurst hospitals. As a Specialist General Practitioner, she contributes significantly to the healthcare landscape of the Sydney metropolitan area.

She is a Specialist General Practitioner with extensive expertise in occupational, aviation, dive, mining, and rail medicine. She specialises in the management of allergy, ENT, and respiratory conditions for both adults and children. Her proficiency also covers women’s health, including antenatal care, Implanon and IUD placement, and a focus on gut health and disorders. Dr. Majeed is also notably skilled in migraine management.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Majeed is committed to community service. She is actively involved in emergency medicine at Hornsby ED and collaborates with Streetside Medics to provide healthcare services to Sydney’s homeless population.

Dr. Saima Majeed is dedicated to patient-centered care, driven by a deep passion for community well-being and a diverse range of medical skills. DR jIGAR DARJI

Dr Jigar Darji has completed his GP training in Sydney and Dubbo. He  completed his Bachelor of Medicine in Newcastle in 2010 and has been working in Western Sydney for over 10 years mainly in the field of General Surgery before moving into a career in General Practice.
 
He is happy to see all aspects of General practice with special interest in skin cancers, men’s health, child health, chronic disease management and minor surgical procedures. 
 
Outside of work he enjoys travelling, exploring nature and drone photography.
