We are committed to providing quality facilities and services so your doctor can provide care to all individuals and families in this area. Patients can opt to be enrolled in recall services if they so choose. Your doctor uses our reminder system as a long term preventative approach towards their patient’s general health and well being. Occasionally de-identified data may be used or disclosed for medical research activities. If you would like to be excluded from this research, or from any recall and reminder systems please inform reception.
At Rouse Hill Family Medical Practice, the doctors we support offer a wide range of services including diving medicals, home visits, immunisations, men’s health, women’s health and diagnostic services.
Consultation Fees
Unfortunately Medicare benefits are no longer enough to sustain your doctor’s costs of providing medical services. In order your doctor to provide regular care, they have felt it necessary to supplement their fees.
As a result, the doctors we support now privately bill at their discretion.
- Pensioners, concession card holders and patients aged 16 and 17 years of age receive a reduced fee.
- Generally patients under 16 will be bulk billed, at the doctors discretion during the week.
- On weekends the doctors privately bill for their consults.
- For out-of-pocket fees, Medicare rebates will be processed for you at the time of consultation.
The billing and fees are all set by your doctor and any adjustments are at their discretion. For any enquiries regarding the billing and fees, please ask your doctor during your consultation or speak to our lovely staff at the front desk who can provide this information on your doctors behalf. Your doctors consultation fees charged factor in the cost of providing you with comprehensive health care to the highest quality. Consultation fees vary depending on the time spent with your doctor and how complex the issues discussed are that are being addressed.
All privately billed patients must make payment at the time of consultation. This can be paid by either cash or credit/debit card.
Please speak with your doctor or see reception for a list of your doctors fees. House calls with National Home Doctor Service are bulk billed for all patients as per their own fee structure.
